Campbeltown was once proclaimed the ‘whisky capital of the world’ and is still home to J&A Mitchell's Springbank and Glengyle distilleries.

Almost uniquely amongst modern distilleries, 100% of the following production process is carried on one site: Malting, kilning, milling, mashing, fermentation, distillation, cask filling, maturation, bottling and labelling are all overseen by an expert in-house team and distillery manager.

Three distinct single malts are made at the Springbank distillery – Springbank – Hazelburn – Longrow.

In 2004 J&A Mitchell re-opened their other Campbeltown distillery, Glengyle - home to the ultra-rare Kilkerran.
