Domaine Dujac was purchased by Jacques Seysses in the late 1960’s, since then and now under the stewardship of Jacques's son Jeremy, Dujac has become one of the top performing, most sought after and quite frankly delicious Domaines on the Côte-d'Or.
Over three quarters of the Domaine is Premier and Grand Cru, with the vineyard philosophy being lutte raisonée and since 2001 totally organic. Dujac add stems to the fermentation process, but only when they, along with the fruit, are perfectly ripe. Once in barrel the wines are aged in deep cool cellars and only racked occasionally. The wines produced at Dujac are incredibly pure, almost ethereal, and are the epitome of great red Burgundy. They age effortlessly in the cellar.
There is also the excellent Les Monts Luisants Blanc, a stunning white Burgundy that impresses every time - delicious!

The 2019 Vosne-Romanée Les Beaux Monts 1er Cru has a perfumed and enticing bouquet with brambly black fruit, black truffle and Earl Grey aromas gently wafting from the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-grain tannins. The whole bunch influence is discrete here but lends an attractive white pepper and clove note towards the finish that fans out wonderful whilst maintaining freshness and tension. Just outflanked by the Aux Malconsorts, nevertheless, this is a brilliant Les Beaux Monts.

Produced from Dujac’s 0.73ha of Beaux Monts. The whole cluster ferment and new casks here have given smoky, dark and savoury aromas on the nose, and a dense feel on the palate, with lovely depth and firmness, before a finish that lingers pleasantly on the palate. Marvellous quality and should age well.
