One of our rising star agencies; Domaine Boursot in Chambolle Musigny is a small family-run producer making brilliantly crafted red Burgundy.
After the very small 2016 harvest, the Boursot boys had more wine in 2017, but this is still a minute Domaine; 2-3 barrels of each wine, that’s it, for the whole world!
We recently tasted the 2017 village Gevrey Chambertin at the office and were struck by the boldness of the wine with a pure Pinot flavour and beautiful balance. With a good decant it positively blossoms - it is perfect for drinking now but will cellar for another five years with ease.

Lovely fragrant cherries, with excellent purity of fruit on the nose. The palate has now softened and is silky with excellent depth and concentration. zippy acidity keeps the freshness - this is perfect to drink now. Simply brilliant!
