The Chambolle Musigny Premier Cru vineyard of Aux Echanges sits next door to Beaux Bruns and a little further down the slope from Chatelots. In the hands of Jean-Marie Fourrier the wine made there has a beautiful freshness with fine boned tannins that show the Pinot fruit in exemplary fashion!
We are delighted to offer a parcel, direct from our cellars of the 2014 Aux Echanges. We opened a bottle at Seckford HQ earlier this week and it is drinking superbly. Typically 2014 with it's crunchy fruit style and with some time in a decanter it blossomed. However, there is enough grip of tannin and concentration of fruit for it to age as well.

"Gorgeous red fruit, incredibly pretty & pure, with a little orange peel. The fruit on the nose is layered, beautifully sunny and typically 2014. On the palate the fruit is crunchy, and ripe, the minerality gives it superb freshness and lift. The tannins grip and give the wine excellent direction and poise. This is a very fine Fourrier release. Truly excellent." (Seckford Wines, October 2019)
