Vinous Antonio Galloni - 01 Jan 14
A deep, brooding wine, the 2012 Clos de La Roche impresses for its utterly impeccable overall balance and sense of harmony. The flavors are beautifully layered from start to finish. Blue/black-toned fruit, spices and wild flowers are all very much alive in the glass. The firm, classic Clos de La Roche tannins are there, but they are nearly completely buried by the pure intensity of the fruit.
