Bright medium red. Tangy raspberry aroma lifted by a hint of peppery acidity and a suggestion of white fruits. Precise and piercing, with brisk acidity and strong minerality currently dominating underlying red fruits and flowers. Wonderfully fresh and long but in need of some time in bottle. Two thousand ten is great if you like minerality, the truth and freshness, noted winemaker Francois Millet. A splendid village wine with a future.

Chambolle-Musigny

Chambolle-Musigny, a prestigious appellation in Burgundy's Côte de Nuits, is renowned for its elegant, aromatic Pinot Noir wines. Known for their finesse and complex aromas of red berries, violets, and earth, these wines are often described as the most "feminine" of Burgundy. The appellation's two Grand Cru vineyards, Bonnes Mares and Musigny, produce highly sought-after wines with depth and ageing potential. Notable producers include Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé, Domaine Georges Roumier, and Domaine Jacques-Frédéric Mugnier, all celebrated for their refined winemaking.
