Good medium red. Very pure, deep, bright aromas of dark berries, black cherry and licorice. Sweet, sappy and seamless, offering a wonderfully pliant texture for young Clos Vougeot from a structured vintage. Primary dark fruit flavors are accented by herbs and licorice. The very long, mounting finish features firm but well-integrated tannins. Give this one at least five or six years in the cellar.
