Vinous Antonio Galloni - 01 Feb 12
The 2010 Chambolle-Musigny Les Chatelots comes across as big, powerful and quite structured. Dark cherries, spices and flowers are some of the notes that flow from the glass, but ultimately, the Chatelots is all about intense minerality and cut. The wine's energy and nuance carry through to the finish.

Chambolle-Musigny

Chambolle-Musigny, a prestigious appellation in Burgundy's Côte de Nuits, is renowned for its elegant, aromatic Pinot Noir wines. Known for their finesse and complex aromas of red berries, violets, and earth, these wines are often described as the most "feminine" of Burgundy. The appellation's two Grand Cru vineyards, Bonnes Mares and Musigny, produce highly sought-after wines with depth and ageing potential. Notable producers include Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé, Domaine Georges Roumier, and Domaine Jacques-Frédéric Mugnier, all celebrated for their refined winemaking.
