(100% tempranillo): Youthful purple. Heady, primary aromas of cassis, blackberry and singed plum are complicated by smoky cocoa, espresso and vanillin oak. Very floral and sweet, with deep dark berry preserve flavors and notes of clove and allspice. Becomes more tannic on the back half, finishing with very good grip and excellent length. I'd drink this before either the 2006 or the 2005.
