The 2015 Brunello di Montalcino Paesaggio Inatteso presents a remarkably pretty display of ripe strawberries, offset by notes of citrus zest, with a mix of sweet spice, wild herbs, and lifting floral notes. On the palate, silky textures give way to black cherry, underscored by vibrant acids and saline minerals, as contrasting sweet spice and pretty inner florals develop. It finishes long and spicy, resonating on minerality and slowly revealing its fine tannins toward the finale.

Good dark red. Perfumed red cherry, raspberry and mint on the nose, plus hints of potpourri. Clean flavors of red fruits and spices show a restrained sweetness and a creamy mouthfeel on the long back end. Offers greater delineation and increasing pliancy with air.
