Vinous Neal Martin - 01 Aug 21
The 2017 Bienvenue-Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru has a well-defined and quite complex bouquet, revealing touches of almond and brioche while delivering plenty of mineralité and focus. The palate is fresh and vibrant with crisp acidity, the flavors of lime and green apples segueing into more orange zest notes toward the tensile finish. This has enormous potential. Tasted blind at the annual Burgfest tasting in Savigny-lès-Beaune.
