Tasting Notes

Vinous Stephen Tanzer - 01 Mar 10
(three of seven barrels were vinified with whole clusters) Good medium red. Explosive perfume of red berries, rose petal and licorice pastille. Perfumed, silky and quite fine in the mouth, with terrific lift to the nuanced flavors of raspberry, rose petal, spices and smoky minerality. Very generous in its texture. Finishes sappy, deep and very long.
