Deep red. Liqueur-like candied raspberry and stone on the perfumed nose, complicated by toast and smoke notes. Juicy, intense and sweet, with a sappy, candied quality carrying through the palate. But there are also lovely saline soil tones here. Very chewy, vibrant wine with excellent length—and showing superbly today.
