Vinous Stephen Tanzer - 01 Mar 08
Bright, saturated red. Black cherry and licorice aromas show a slightly medicinal aspect. Dense, ripe and sweet, but with a rather cool, reserved character given its considerable fat. The broad, long finish features substantial sweet, dusty tannins. This wine has been less austere and hard since 2004, notes Lachaux.
