The 2010 Chambolle-Musigny Les Baudes shows the more masculine, virile side of Chambolle in its dark fruit, menthol and spices. Deep layers of fruit continue to unfold as the wine sits in the glass, all supported by firm yet well-integrated tannins. A long, impeccable finish rounds out this stellar Chambolle. In 2010 the Baudes is flat-out great. Baudes lies just below Bonnes-Mares and a certain similarity to the wines from that great side is evident in the structural profile.

Chambolle-Musigny

Chambolle-Musigny, a prestigious appellation in Burgundy's Côte de Nuits, is renowned for its elegant, aromatic Pinot Noir wines. Known for their finesse and complex aromas of red berries, violets, and earth, these wines are often described as the most "feminine" of Burgundy. The appellation's two Grand Cru vineyards, Bonnes Mares and Musigny, produce highly sought-after wines with depth and ageing potential. Notable producers include Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé, Domaine Georges Roumier, and Domaine Jacques-Frédéric Mugnier, all celebrated for their refined winemaking.
