The 2017 Chorey-lès-Beaune Village is the usual blend of three sectors of the appellation that Nathalie Tollot blended in the proportion of what will represent the final blend, since each is raised separately. It sees no new oak. The perfumed cranberry and wild strawberry bouquet is nicely defined, and the pretty palate shows quite sharp acidity that lends freshness and edginess. I like the fruit profile here - very pure and full of life with a vigorous, refreshing finish that leaves a spicy residue. Very fine.
