The 2022 Pommard Les Fremiers 1er Cru is definitely a step up from the Les Croix Noirs: more terroir expression and mineralité, with slightly darker fruit, too. The palate is very tensile and poised with impressive mineralité and harmony. There is real transparency to this Pommard - much redder in profile with a long tail on the finish. Wonderful.
