Tasting Notes

Vinous Neal Martin - 01 Jan 20
The 2018 Fixin Village offers blackberry and raspberry preserve aromas on the tightly packed nose, and subtle minty scents in the background, all nicely focused. The palate is medium-bodied with thick tannins that grip the mouth and lend impressive weight. There is a slight sense of monotony toward the finish, which does not kick on, but this should evolve into a fine, quite stocky Fixin.
