2018 Agnes & Didier Dauvissat
Now our third vintage with the Chablis’s of Agnes et Didier Dauvissat and they are getting better and better. A small family Domaine, where a new generation are pushing the quality to new levels, but delightfully for both merchant and drinker the prices remain brilliantly reasonable.
We have, as before a three tier offering, ranging from the lively, fresh and eminently drinkable Petit Chablis, to a more serious village Chablis and then the tiny production (about 500 cases) Premier Cru of Beauroy.
These Chablis are fermented in tank and see no oak. This gives them gorgeous minerality and freshness without the need for time in bottle letting the oak integrate with the wine.
We continue to love the wines, and we are sure you will too.
