Domaine Jamet 

Domaine Jamet was founded in 1950 by Joseph Jamet, the original holdings being only a handful of rows of vine. It wasn't until 1976 that the Domaine began to bottle their own wines. The Domaine grew to 8.5 hectares, run by Jean-Paul Jamet and brother Jean-Luc.

In 2013 Jean-Luc sensationally left the Domaine to set up independently under the label of Jean-Luc Jamet - subsequently the old Domaine was split. Jean-Paul has retained the vineyards in the Cote Brune - widely regarded as the jewel in the crown with holdings in La Landonne amongst other Lieu-dits. These produce some of the most complex and beguiling wines in the region.

When young the wines are dense and hugely structured, once mature they are ethereal, complex and beautifully perfumed. Most certainly some of the greatest Cote Roties made come from Jamet.
