Paul Bara from the brilliantly named village of Bouzy is dominant in Pinot Noir and the south facing gently sloping vineyards allow for perfect ripening. These Champagnes have real depth and presence, if rich, bold Champagnes are for you then Paul Bara is excellent.
Diebolt Vallois hails from Cramant and the vines thrive on the chalky soils of the Cote de Blancs. Normally a blend of all three of the Champagne varieties. The Blanc de Blancs is the perfect aperitif wine, zesty fruit and a fine backbone of acidy – perfect!
Guy Charlemagne is located in the famous village of Le Mesnil sur Oger. Winemaker Philip Charlemagne likes to show off their fine terroir with vinous Blanc de Blancs Champagne that has superb complexity it ages beautifully.

90 Points (Antonio Galloni, Vinous) The NV Brut Réserve Grand Cru is a terrific introduction to the Bara house style. Citrus; almond, orchard fruit and floral notes abound in a Champagne of real personality and class. The texture and resonance of the Pinot that makes up most of the blend and the natural richness of Bouzy are felt mostly in the wine's weight and textural feel. There is plenty to like in this vinous, inviting Champagne from Bara. Disgorged: January 2018. Dosage is 7 grams per liter.
