Seckford Wines Ltd is one of the world’s leading fine wine merchants and storage specialist with over 30 years of experience. This is an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Operative to join our expanding team.  The role is based in our HMRC Private Bonded warehouse in Melton, Suffolk.

Hours:

• Full time, Monday to Friday, 8.5 hours per day, up to 42.30 hours per week.

The role will involve:

• Moving and stacking heavy cases (up to 20KG)
• Accurately picking and packing orders
• Use of warehouse management software
• General housekeeping duties in the warehouse
• Photographing stock
• Working to a strong health and safety ethos
• Occasional delivery driving
• Booking courier dispatch

You will ensure wine is well cared for, stored accurately and safely, and all orders are fulfilled on time. You will be expected to lift goods by hand and by using manual handling equipment, for which we provide full training and certification.

You are required to have a full clean drivers licence and be prepared to provide driver cover when short staffed.

We require a clean DBS Criminal Record check

Key skills, knowledge and experience:

• Numerate and literate
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook.
• Attention to detail / high accuracy levels
• Good communication skills
• Well organised and flexible
• Ability to work without direct supervision
• Conscientious and reliable
• Positive working attitude
• Clean Driving License (Required)
